The Role
I really enjoyed it. I was a valued member of the team and people really appreciated my contributions. I was able to get involved in various interesting projects.
I was part of a very welcoming team. We were doing various activities outside the normal work hours and I can say that I've made friends for the year I spent at PwC.
I was always provided with guidance to the tasks I was given and any time I wouldn't understand something people were more than happy to answer my questions and help me.
Work load varied: I had days where I was struggling to find work as well as others where I had very tight deadlines to perform my work.
I was given enough responsibility considering how junior I was in the team.
I've developed soft skills such as team working, organisational skills and time management which will be very beneficial to my final year.
The Company
Atmosphere was really pleasant. I especially enjoyed the team lunches.
The Forensics team had done a great job to provide structure to my placement program. A lot was organised for us: for example development team meetings, mentor calls or just peer group sessions.
I had the opportunity to take part in various training sessions, such as report writing or Excel. There were a lot of e-learns too.

Very! I am joining the graduate scheme.
The Culture
Great within the Forensics firm, not so much across all lines of service, however I know that this is something that will improve.
Cost of living was ok but socialising was difficult.
Haven't gone out much.
Almost endless opportunities: from charity events, through networking to sports.
