About You
I was able to receive an incredibly interesting insight into the environment within PwC and able to explore several areas in a short amount of time.
The culture within PwC is incredibly supportive and friendly.
I had several points of contact to clear up any questions or queries I had.
By having first hand experience of auditing applied in the real world I am able to apply this to related modules at university.
The Company
I was constantly kept busy and never felt 'bored' throughout the experience.
The atmosphere was very welcoming with an interesting workload and responsibility.
I was only there for one week, however, it was a very hands on experience. I was given opportunities to attend events after my placement was completed related to development opportunities at PwC.
The insight definitely gave me an intriguing snapchat of life at PwC.
I felt I had an insightful snapshot in understanding the culture within PwC.
The content throughout the week played a vital role in helping me decide my future career path and opened me up to opportunities I had not completely considered in the past.
Everything Else
I was paid for the one-week placement and reimbursed expenses for attending the assessment centre during the application process.
There were opportunities for networking and meting other employees. I was given the chance to attend external events which were related to the company after my placement was complete.
As this was only a one week placement, I did not have the opportunity to attend social events, however, I was given the chance to work in groups with colleagues which were at a similar stage in the career.
There is information on the PwC portal for events such as this, along with my manager who informed me of them.
I would certainly recommend this insight to a friend, it was incredibly insightful and opened me up for future opportunities, leading to a graduate role at PwC.
