About You
I really enjoyed the Women in Business insight week. My mentor was very supportive and helpful. She always found time to explain me things I asked.

My mentor was very supportive and helpful. She always found time to explain me things I asked. She always introduced me to her colleagues and told me to ask questions.
I did not get to do much during these 4 days.
The Company
Since the insight week was just 4 days for me I did not have many opportunities to attend any full personal training or development organized by PwC. My mentor, however, took me to a webinar about leadership by an external speaker that was an online development for PwC Employees. In addition, I had a feeling that the culture in PwC is quite open and if I stayed longer, I would be supported with training sessions.
During my insight week I had invaluable opportunity to talk to employees of PwC on various positions, from graduate level up to managers. My mentor arranged meetings for me so that I could talk to them. They all were very helpful and answered any of my questions, so I got a clear view on how the full time role could look like.
I had invaluable opportunity to talk to employees of PwC at various positions, from graduate level up to managers. They all were very helpful and answered any of my questions, so I could see what the culture in PwC look like. Luckily my mentor was working on enhancing the culture aspects in the firm, so I had great opportunity to see the culture being created in process.
Since the insight week was just 4 days for me I did not have many opportunities to fully grasp the nature of the job and decide on my future career path. However, I gained many contacts so I can get in touch with PwC employees in case I want to discuss any particular topic further. Which is quite valuable.
Everything Else
I was paid 9 pounds per hour. I think it was adequate reimbursement. The food in the canteen was also partially reimbursed, so it was cheaper that if I was buying it on street. Maybe I would welcome the pay and reimbursement of food and travel expenses as well, since I had to pay for my travel card on my own.
During my insight week I had a great opportunity to talk to employees of PwC on various positions, from graduate level up to managers. My mentor arranged meetings for me so that I could talk to them during lunch or during the meetings she had planned. They all were very helpful and answered any of my questions.

I did. With my mentor, we were discussing what opportunities PwC offers as a part of work but also external volunteering opportunities. I found out also about travelling programmes and that employees are allowed a transfer from one office to another. I thought that it was more complicated, but the discussion clarified my bias.
Yes, definitely I would recommend this insight program to my friends. It gave me a glimpse of PwC culture. It was very well organized and I was quite satisfied with my mentor. She was very nice and helpful. Id addition it was paid, so I could cover my extra expenses while staying longer in London.
