    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My work placement was a brilliant year that tested and pushed me throughout. I worked with a fantastic team that allowed me to experience so much whilst also presenting me with countless opportunities. Overall I couldn't of asked for a better 12 months and enjoyed the overall time a had with the team massively.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I quickly became familiar with my base team who I now consider to be very close friends. In turn, I was introduced into the wider national team during the early stages of the year. Over the course of the year I found the connective working relationships between the national teams allowed for a fantastic support network.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • You will always have a good support network when you join as a result of having a buddy, people manager and line manager. All 3 individuals I worked with helped to give both personal and professional guidance when dealing with various work issues or worries.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The team I worked with allowed to have a considerable amount of responsibility and as a result lead to having a substantial work load throughout the year. Therefore, I was busy on a daily basis and at no point did I ever feel like a placement 西瓜视频. I was very much seen as a full time employee which was noted by many that were shocked to hear I was leaving to come back to university.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Manager level of responsibility I was given, specifically 2 grades higher than my job role title.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • work ethic, increased confidence and improved focus are just a few of the skills I hope to transfer into my final year of study. The year has taught me so much more than I could ever of hoped for and has given me so much more than expected

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • All departments we're extremely friendly and approachable and made going into the office a fun experience.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • At the beginning of the placement the training was structured and organised and once the initial introduction phase finished there was continued support from the manager of the placements programme in PwC.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived in Manchester for the year, its a growing city with lots of investment where the overall cost of living is still reasonably priced. Transport is cheap and I was able to keep a car close to the centre of town for a very reasonable price.

    4/5
