The Role
I really enjoyed it. There ere times when things got really busy- but thats the nature of the job! Overall a great year!
I was treated the same as any other graduate starting the first year of their grad scheme
PwC has a really good system in place to get support from seniors. Plus any manager would be more than happy to help you
It varied- busy season was jan-march. There were times where you were working past 5:30. But there was never a time you had nothing to do- but the work was interesting
I was given the same responsibility as any other 1st year
Ive learnt to be more mature and manage my time- a great skill to take back to university
The Company
Was a small office- so everyone knew each other. Was really nice especially when we had socials
Same as any other grad scheme- so very well planned
I got to complete 7/15 of my ACA exams. I was surprised about this as this puts me in a great position going back to my accounting degree at university
Company Parties/Events
I have been offered a grad job- so long as you passed your exams/didnt mess up you should be fine
The Culture
Our year tended to organise events together and every month the office would go out for drinks.
Cardiff is known to be very cheap- was fine for me
As I go to university in Cardiff I was used to the nightlife anyway. Though was fun to see some of the 'non-西瓜视频' scene
We had a lot of volunteering that I got involved with plus recruitment events
