The Role
The internship has worked really well, in such a big company they are geared up to take on interns and ensure that they have a fun and varied time. This is shown in the variety of work that you do, a mix off office work and client based work
You feel very valued by team members, helped by the fact that the work that you are doing is actually helpful for the goal of the team
There are many systems in place to guide you, with a people manager and more informal buddy, as well as various supervisors on each job. All of these were extremely helpful and ensured that there was always a smiling face of support in the office.
On some days you would be very busy, however having said that there were also very quiet periods, its all dependent on the job you are on.
A lot of responsibility, a surprisingly high amount however this is just the right amount given how knowledgeable you can be as an intern
Time management, IT skills, accounting knowledge, people skills
The Company
Everyone is young and outgoing, but at the sametime the office is focused and conjusive for working.
Very well organised, everything worked very efficiently and smoothly.
Very much in the form of time, money and resources
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I hope to be offered a job with the company at the end of my internship
The Culture
Very good, there are always people up for having a drink on a friday
Leeds is fairly cheap
Very good, its a uni city so has a lot of variety
