    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My internship with the procurement team within the data analytics technology consulting line has been very insightful. PwC had provided me with the much needed valuable experiences, learning and guidance throughout the internship and the people around has been amazingly helpful. I had pleasantly enjoyed my six weeks internship with PwC.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Tasks were assigned to me according to my abilities. Even though I was only an intern, I was given responsibility to work on parts of the project. I felt valued as part of the team, being a team member that was able to contribute. They were always there to lend me a helping hand and had trusted me with the quality of my work.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Before being assigned projects to work on, I was given a handful of presentations and introductions to technology consulting and everything I needed to know about the line of service. Such training had been particularly helpful as guidance. The buddy system was effective in helping us settle in the workplace and my project manager had been supportive.

  • The overall internship set up was very well organised. The induction on the first three days of my summer internship has been particularly helpful to help us gain a general idea about the company and the line of service. Throughout the internship, trainings were scheduled in timetables and were evenly spaced out without overlapping with my work with the procurement team.

  • The company invested a lot by providing us with effective personal development programme and provided us with guidance through the project manager system and also the buddy system. The three days induction training at the start of the summer internship has provided helpful insights and has been the highlight of my internship.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?
  • The annual barbeque event has been one of the highlights of my internship. The social event accommodated over 300 PwC employees and almost all interns and those in the procurement team had attended it. The social event gave us a change to bond with everyone and to socialise while mingle around with people from various departments.
