The Role
I enjoyed it a lot. I felt that I was given opportunity to learn a lot of new skills and I was able to manage my own workload.
I was valued and even as a placement 西瓜视频 was able to contribute to strategy and processes.
The guidance was sufficiet but not overbearing. I was able to manage my own workload and was expected to prioritise high importance work. As long as I finished my work managers never felt the need to intervene.
My placement was a mix of client work and Business Development work. So, if the client work was in a slower peiod, I was kept busy with trialling new products and researching potential clients.
I was leading client deliverables for a number of clients that were reviewed at a senior manager level. I was trusted to deliver and review the work and then a high level review was done.
I think the work ethic I developed will help me moving forward with my studies. The ability to manage time, prioritise, and have the drive to do work will help me.
The Company
The office was a good mix between hard work and good fun. When people were under pressure the atmosphere obviously did change but that helped me to focus more in those times.
The organisation of training seemed unorganised but I have since realised that there was a clear plan and objectives put in place.
The firm sent me on a bookkeeping course for 8 days so I had a basic understanding of accountancy and then also spent alot of internal time on training for me.
