About You
I very much enjoyed the insight. I found it very easy to quickly make friends with many others on the insight, primarily due to the exercises we had the opportunity to take part in.
Helped by the small number of people selected to take part on the insight, each participant was able to have a lot of time conversing with each of managers, directors and partners; somehthing i know many of us found extremely valuable
We had many opportunities to converse with managers, directors and partners, an ideal chance to receive valuable guidance and support. We also had specific guidance in each individual task in each area of assurance and tax.
The information i received conversing with partners and managers will be very useful following my degree in applying for related jobs.
The Company
The insight was very jam-packed enabling us to experience a wide variety of specific areas within tax and assurance as well as giving us the opportunity to meet and dine with managers, directors and partners.
The general atmosphere was very friendly and we were certainly in a great environment to both learn as well as socialise and make great friends.
Within PwC there seems to be great opportunities to both move up the ranks within one division as well as move across ranks within the firm to new divisions.
The opportunity to speak with experienced members of staff both in the regions offices as well as in London offices has provided a great and clear sense of what life at PwC would be like, both professionally and socially.
Again, as stated above, the opportunity to speak to partners and managers enabled us to gather a great understanding of the company culture and atmosphere
Very useful, it enabled me to understand which specific areas of assurance and tax i enjoyed, and which others don't seem to suit my preferences.
Everything Else
All travel expenses were reimbursed
Yes dining and drinking with partners, managers and directors
Very good, we were given a great deal of time and attention by very experienced professionals at PwC
The social life at PwC was highlighted as being a key bonus of working there.
Certainly
