The Role
I really enjoyed it at PwC. There's a good work-life balance and work is interesting.
Everyone at PwC is so warm and welcoming. I felt valued and they made this clear in the feedback I received.
At PwC they have no question is a silly question. Anyone is willing to help if you ask. I asked questions anytime I was unsure
There was never a lack of work. But they never overworked the interns.
I was given a fair built of responsibility. Responsible to complete tasks that are part of the audit and was also given the oppurtunity to present to senior members of the office.
Studying engineering, the analytical aspect of my degree was very useful. I devloped upon my communication and time management skills as well.
The Company
The atmosphere has a relaxed vibe. During the summer months we were allowed to dress down in the office.
Was thoroughly organised. There was a week long induction. They assigned us to a variety of jobs to gain as much exposure as possible.
Spending one week in a 6 week long internship on training clearly reflects that the firm highly invest in our development.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
The chances of getting a job at the end of the internship are high. You have to show enthuasim and commitment and put in maximum effort.
The Culture
We went out for lunch together most days I was with them in the office. Also had post work drinks a few times.
Cost of living is relatively high since its London. But socialising isn't that expensive - all depends on what you do.
Being in London the nightlife is the best in the country.
There was the PwC games and there are a group in the office who organises football.
