The Role
I have enjoyed my internship - always kept occupied and given independence to complete work on projects. Placed in a friendly team who are always happy to help and are easy to get along with.
There was a lot of trust from colleagues in terms of working independently. Was given work that was actually important. Always involved socially
My buddy and people manager were very supportive and sent me through lots of information which would help me throughout the internship. There was a lot of catch up meetings to ensure that I was getting on well.
Never over worked - perfect balance
Was given responsibility and independence over the work that I was given.
This will not assist in my degree but I learnt how to make a graph in excel which may help to an extent
The Company
Welcoming and relaxed.
Was organised but sometimes had to ask a lot of people before I actually had some work. Would be good that after first couple of weeks, there is set work on a particular project of interest.
Residential Induction - all expenses covered. Induction in London, provided with lunch and breakfast. A lot invested
Company Parties/Events
I would like to come back to work for PwC.
The Culture
Yes - both fellow interns and with work colleagues
The bars/clubs around covent garden/charing cross are quite expensive but hardly ever paid for myself - colleagues are very generous
Not really that I was aware of. I know there's a football team that some of the interns play in, but I don't play football!
