    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I thought the insight was really enjoyable and gave us the chance to meet some real PwC partners which was a very valuable experience. The insight week was mainly very helpful in deciding my potential next steps and understanding what the firm was all about However, the enjoyment was very much part of it with the partner dinner being a really enjoyable experience.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • The two days at Forest of Arden were very busy meaning time with the firm was very well spent with lots of different activities helping you learn as much as possible within the time available. We learned lots about different lines of service in the firm as well as helpful tips for potential interviews which made you feel the insight was worth while.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Although we were only their for 2 days, we received a lot of support and guidance throughout with people always offering to help you when required. The support before and after the insight week was also very useful with clear information on emails about the next steps which need to be taken.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I am studying for an Economics degree so the session we had on tax was extremely useful in helping me understand an area which previously I had far less understanding on. The detailed information given can help be an extra detail in exams which otherwise I couldn't have given as it went beyond the syllabus.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The event was planned from when we arrived to the moment we finished with a detailed timetable and jam-packed days which made the insight fly by. I thought the structure was the best part of the insight as it gave us the best use of the time available. This made the insight much more enjoyable.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • I thought the atmosphere at the insight was very good. The chance to meet like minded 西瓜视频s from other universities as well as meeting the very helpful PwC employees gave a nice variety in the insight and kept the two days very interesting as you would always meet new people. The formal dinner also had a brilliant atmosphere as it made it easier to get to know some of the people more easily.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm most importantly invested a lot of time in us by allowing us to come to a two day insight with partners attending made us feel important and the investment of time from senior people at the firm was extremely welcomed as it created a better feeling. Moreover, the cost of the hotel for a large number of people meant the they invested a lot in us over the time.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The insight allowed us to ask a lot questions to employees of the firm about what they thought about the firm and what it was like to work their but it didn't give us the opportunity to go to the office and give us hands on experience of what it was actually like to work there. However, considering we only had two days as much information as possible was given to us. This made us content with knowing it would be a good place to work.

    3/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The company culture of helping each other within the firm blame very clear after I had attended the insight with workers giving up their own time to come and speak with us and tell us more about PwC. All the people who I spoke to gave clear benefits of the culture in the firm which meant you had a real understanding of what it was.

    5/5
