The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship and learnt so much while working on the job on a real project. I enjoyed always being busy and having lots to do.
There was lots of help available if I needed it and people here are extremely friendly and helpful.
I had all the help I needed, if I had nay questions or struggled with something there was always someone to help
I always had work to do when I got in everyday but was never too stressed to get something done by a deadline, just the right balance.
enough, I was given a role to complete and left o do it myself unless I had any questions.
The skills I have learnt at BP are extremely valuable to what I will be doing in my final year at university. I have learnt how to use Petrel whilst at BP, which I will be using in my MSci project, I feel prepared to go back and be ahead of the game.
The Company
Good, people are very friendly. For half the internship I was sitting next to another graduate with whom I got on very well with.
The whole internship was well organised, I always knew what I was doing and I knew what the aims were for the end of the internship.
A lot, I went on the Petrel training course with my team which will be very valuable for when I return back to university.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
I would very much like to work for BP, I do very much hope I get a job, but with the low oil prices I am not too sure if I will.
The Culture
Yes, however I didn't live with any other interns so I missed out a lot on the social aspects. I would have like there to be more big social events that were organised.
none, I live with my family and I didn't go out my with the other intern as I don't live near them which was a shame.
I live at home so I didn't go out at all.
Yes, I took part in run club twice a week and in touch rugby once a week. I also attended the gym everyday.
