The Role
I enjoyed the internship experience as there was a great chance to learn about the company and contribute to the business.
Colleagues were very friendly and willing to help and support work, as well as happy to give up time to go through their roles.
I had weekly meetings with my supervisor who gave me guidance about my project work and performance throughout the internship.
Plenty to be doing - it was up to me to work as much as I could on my project, but within reasonable hours and expectations.
I was asked to create a model which will be used by the BP traders, which is a big amount of responsibility at an early stage.
I have picked up a great deal of Excel skills which will be very helpful in data analysis in my fourth year project in Chemistry.
The Company
Buzzing, friendly and hard-working
Very well organised, with good training set up, support and social life.
Lots of training given on excel and presentation skills. Also was able to learn via online modules available to all the interns.

Working from home
Very appealing - good feedback from current graduates about the life at BP.
The Culture
Yes, lots of fun events like meals and drinks were available.
Expensive as in London but the salary easily covered living costs.
Good.
Yes, for example, charity work, poster competitions etc. organised by BP.
