The Role
Very much so, BP have a very well managed internship programme with everything in place for when i started
My team encouraged me to stretch myself during my internship which made me feel valued
I had a supervisor, line manager and two mentors!
I was given certain projects which I completed ahead of time which left me to pursue my own work/ network with colleagues and get involved with extra work
I was given a specific project, I was told that this would contribute to a larger project.
BP put on training courses and mentor support helped me to develop key areas, so I was very pleased with this. It has also helped me in my final year.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly, supportive and willing to take the time to help you.
Fantastic communication from start to finish. BP have run this programme for many years and take over 100 interns, so it is very well managed and this was a huge relief.
The company paid for external facilitators for training, plus allocating mentors which took time out of their schedules.

Very strong! Take a look online to see BP's conversion from intern to grad :)
The Culture
Based in London meant everyone was spread out, however we organised our own social things and BP put on a couple of events too
Expensive (London) but the salary was higher than average to accommodate for this.
Not the best, but central london is a tube/train ride away so it's not a problem!
There is a sports club, societies/groups, team events, summer events etc!
