About You
A very good day to show off what the company can offer Undergraduates and Graduates. This is a great day to experience how your early career could be with BP and where it could take you.
It felt like I was valued and that the company was interested in which was reflected in the amount of advised provided for the applications and careers paths within BP.
A day with gave an invaluable insight to the early career paths within BP, this day also provided help with applications and networking.
The day provided information and advise of how to structure an engineering application what skills and experiences employees are looking for. Further to this the talks for employees further into there careers gave insights on how a long career can be structured.
The Company
Very well organised with the day fully plan, however during the day you never felt rushed to ask questions.
The atmosphere progessed during the day after talking to fellow participates so you felt more at easy to talk within the group.
It felt like they invested a lot of time and effort to run the day, this showed in the organisation of the day and made the experience worthwhile and rewarding.
The day gave showed what would be your day to day roles, but also how you can create your own path over a career.
It showed that if you were to join this big company that you would be more than another face in the crowd. You could still develop your on future and achieve your own goals, which is a great asset to the company.
This was an excellent opportunity to look within this area of engineering and think is it right for me start to have initial thoughts about a future career.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for all my travel to and from the event.
During the day we had a presentation from a site director which opened in to a Q & A session regarding how she has developed her future. We then had similar presentations from graduates and had a networking lunch meeting other employees of the company.
The networking opportunities were excellent with the different prospectives you could ask different questions regarding
We were given some details regarding the activates outside of the work place but not the full range of activities due to the structure of the day.
Definitely would recommend to anyone that wished to pursue a job within this field.
