About You
The day provided a good look at the work done in pangbourne for the fuels and lubricants section of BP
Speakers were friendly and good food/expenses were provided
Some guidance on the structure of graduate applications was given, but focus was limited as it was a joint mech engineering chemistry event
One day wasn't long enough to develop many new skills
The Company
We'll structured apart from the lack of focus due to combining two disciplines in one day
Friendly and optimistic
It was one day long so... It didn't
Talks fro.m several graduate Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs were given, and the Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs stayed for lunch allowing time to chat afterwards
There were also talks from more senior people in the business to get some of the bigger picture of the company
It was a very good insight into working for BP in pangbourne
Everything Else
Expenses were reimbursed for travel booked through their supplier. Additional expenses forms were given for any other expenses incurred on the day
There was a networking lunch and also other breaks to talk to various employees including recent graduates
We were largely left to it
As part of the talks by recent graduates, extra activities were mentioned
Yes, it was good fun if lacking in focus occasionally due to the different disciplines represented
