About You
I really enjoyed it
They clearly went to a big effort to impress us and get us involved
A surprising amount was said about how to apply and good interview tips
Hopefully will set me up for a move into a job
The Company
Good, it was a pity I didn't get onto the geoscience days, but the wells day seemed to be well suited for the chemical engineers
friendly but very businesslike
Paid for transport, food etc, got some pretty senior people in to talk to us: Head of Rig Engineering
Very good here: got to talk to 2 current geologists on the grad scheme for about an hour and got through all the questions,of which I had many!
I hadn't realis how much BP invest in their employees environment and extras, plus the 5 values were insightful
I was already confident in my career path, but this has really solidified my feelings
Everything Else
yes, paid for train tickets and shuttled from the station
this was, for me, the most valuable part of the day
I had a lot of questions and between the 2 grads I spoke to, I built up a real idea of life at BP
Not really, though we were given some literature saying that there were opportunities
definitely, it's not at all inconvenient, and it can only be beneficial to go and get more information
