About You
Well-structured and informative.
All in the graduate recruitment team, which was in charge of the event, were all very friendly.
The graduate recruitment team and current members of staff (some in the graduate programme) were all very open about their experiences and keen to answer any questions.
No skill developed as this was only a one-day insight event. Learnt about the oil and gas industry, and various jobs involved.
The Company
The day was very well structured, and followed a timetable.
Very casual and friendly atmosphere.
Not applicable as it was only an insight day.
Several current Challengers (those in the graduate programme) and senior staff spoke to us about their roles and work.
Had a tour around the office, staff all seemed happy and friendly.
Will try to apply for a summer internship.
Everything Else
BP covered travel costs, a meal and one night's stay at a hotel in Aberdeen.
Current Challengers stayed for tea and we were free to ask them questions.
Could talk to Challengers but not so much more senior staff.
Challengers talked about this in the presentations they gave.
Very good to get to know the company from inside.
