About You
Tutors always added humour to the simulations
Treated as adults and gave presentations at the end of the conference so it felt as if our contribution was valued
Graduates assigned to each team to help us through the simulation and the tutors were always on hand to give support.
Very helpful to see how a real oil and gas company works and valuable teamwork and presentation skills.
The Company
Very well structured although days were long and tiring.
Simulation was interesting though the teams were a bit large meaning some boring points at times.
Tutors gave training into how to do finances and the bidding process to obtain licences for an oil/gas field.
Not really the purpose of the conference although graduates gave an insight into what a full time role would be like
Same as above
Helped give an insight into the workings of a real oil and gas company
Everything Else
Accomodation provided in a hotel and travel expenses were paid for.
Graduates available at end to talk to.
Good dinners at end of both days and oppurtunities to talk to BP employees/tutors.
Graduates gave presentations about their out of work oppurtunities.
Yes, as it gave a realistic insight into the workings of a real oil and gas company and gave extra information such as how to calculate finances and presentation skills.
