The Role
The skills learnt on this placement were invaluable, everybody was really friendly and there was a great atmosphere around the office.
Everybody was really friendly, I was able to join technical discussions and make key discussions in the progression of the project and was handed important roles and responsibilities.
was given fantastic support by my line manager, however he was on holiday for two weeks which made it slightly harder to receive support. There were people I could call and others in the office who could help me though
It was very rare to be bored or too busy. It was obvious that they kept me in mind when resource planning occurred. There was the occasional period in the last week of the placement where work was slightly quieter but this is to be expected.
I was given responsibility on a number of occasions.
I have no doubt that this internship has set me on a trajectory towards a career in IT.
The Company
Environment tend to be formal.
Organisation was excellent. All contract documents and conditions of employment were sent out well in advance.
They did as much as they could to ensure I had an interesting experience.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I have really enjoyed my time so far, It would be a pleasure to come back.
The Culture
It was a good environment. Everyone is
I live quite close to work and it is quite inconvenient for me to travel to town. This was a personal choice that I made. However, my house mates are working professional similar to my age and we have good laugh and have a great social life
It was fun. Lots of Pubs nearby where you can get a drink.
There are lots of clubs to get involved with outside of work although apart from that I personally didn’t find much else going o
