The Role
Its been really great, a fantastic balance of doing useful work and learning!
My work was important to my team
Whenever I got stuck, my team was very happy to help me out. We were given great support when it came to gaining presentation skills too.
Had plenty to do
Mostly doing support work, but was important for future recommendations in future work.
The experience of working in industry will be invaluable when I eventually leave uni
The Company
Most people were away on holiday, so it was fairly quiet, but people were friendly and liked to joke and chat
Fantastically organised from beginning to end
"lunch and learn" sessions provided great opportunities to find out more, and presentation skills sessions were helpful
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Get the chance to be assessed to get on the grad scheme. Hoping to hear back soon!
The Culture
Started slow, but that was mainly us being lazy. Quite active by the end.
Slightly expensive, but thats to be expected in Surrey/London
Had to travel a bit to get there, either into central London or to nearby towns, but when you get there its great
Lots of outside projects to get involved with such as schools work.
