The Role
Really enjoyable, felt valued as part of the team.
The work I was doing was actually used as part of something important, not just something to keep me busy.
Very supportive team, both line manager and team members always had time to talk and help with my project.
Generally a good balance, at times slightly too much and other times a bit too much free time. I think this is inevitable though as I aimed to finish with time to spare.
Quite a lot, I never felt isolated but was treated as a team member.
This internship has given me so much technical knowledge, and confidence in my technical skills, that I will take with me to University in my final year.
The Company
They had all of the facilities I would require before I arrived, and a seating location and initial reading so that I could start as soon as I arrived.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Good chance of being selected as already have gone through all of the graduate recruitment steps.
The Culture
Very cheap to live and enjoy the nightlife.
We had a Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ house in a university area, and so there is lots going on and plenty of cheap pubs/clubs to go to.
