The Role
Enjoyable work and very nice office to work in. Lots of other interns and graduates so there's lots of fun to be had.
They were very welcoming and helpful throughout the internship and were always willing to give up time at some point to help me out. However, I always got the impression that there were much more important things to do.
Really good support throughout the placement. Great technical support from my supervisor and regulr meetings with my line manager. HR also readily available for resolving problems.
Very busy when deadlines were approaching and at the start of the placement when there was a steep learning curve. Quite quiet at other times when I had finished work and moved on.
The work needed to be done but didn't seem important enough for anyone else to want to do it. Had a minor impact on decision making in the furture.
Really great learning experience. Learnt more on the placement than I have in dedicated courses at university.
The Company
Generally quiet open plan office - plenty of spaces to chat though.
Very well organised all through the application process and placement. Had a work plan set out for me with clear aims and objectives.
My supervisor put a lot of time into helping me with my work and there were plenty of other support staff.

I am hoping to get a graduate position with them for september 2014 but haven't heard yet. The internship route seems to be one of the best ways to get a graduate position.
The Culture
Intern and graduate social committee for organising events. All the other interns were really friendly and we often went for lunch and drinks together.
I lived at home to save money so I'm not sure. I heard that it wasn't cheap because it was in London but you do get an allowance. Nights out were fairly expensive because it was London.
London suburbs were not that great but there was always the option of a quick train journey into the centre.
Yes - I played 5-a-side football every monday night and there were plenty of other activities available.
