The Role
Very good fun. Lots of great people to work with.
Totally accepted as a member of the team from the first day.
As much support as I asked for, although I did have to ask for it... They expected you to be pro-active in this.
As busy as I wanted to be as I was organising my projects almost entirely under my own direction.
Total responsebility for my projects!
The nature of my projects were similar in scope to a 3rd year research project, and so I've gained LOADS of skills & experience which is going to be VERY valuable in the coming year (and beyond).
The Company
Very quiet & studious, but with everyone also very friendly.
Nothing to complain about. They have plenty of interns so know what they're doing.
There was some training given (which was REALLY well done), but not much... It felt they wanted to see what you were like 'as you are'.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Hopefully I should get an offer in the next week...
The Culture
The other interns were lovely. A really great bunch of people. Those who took the company suggested halls to live in definetly had an advantage with the social scene as they were living together.
London! Although, at least we weren't based in the centre!
Very little imediately around the office, but everyone goes into the city for a night out.
LOADS of things to do. Lots of commities for various events & competitions, team based, intern based and company wide.
