  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Was very enjoyable, flexible working hours were awesome and free lunch made every day that little bit better.

  • Everyone was very easy to approach and felt genuinely interested in my work.

  • Manager gave constructive criticism where necessary and respected all my choices and decisions.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very different from university in that you are often left to decide what you do each day, therefore can feel a bit bored to begin with but soon find yourself lots of tasks that take up your time.

  • I was able to investigate specific topics I felt more necessary and grow my industry network independently.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Excellent industry experience, dealing with the work environment, presentation skills and getting to grips with the technical considerations that need to be implemented in industry.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Good atmosphere, senior employees share the same office space and no one is afraid to make a joke or stop to talk during the day.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very good organisation from the recruitment team, generally give results of each application stage within 48hrs of doing it. During internship constant contact with you and your manager was made to ensure you got on ok. A graduate mentor was also assigned to each intern.

  • Presentation skills training was compulsory for all interns, other training was available but not compulsory.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Over 80% of interns return on the graduate program. Pay is competitive (33k min) and plenty of opportunity for great experiences and international travel.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµs/colleagues?
  • Lots of organised events and an established graduate social committee who helped with intern events.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • In London so never gonna be cheap.

  • Lived outside the M25, although options are available in central London which would improve nightlife considerably.

  • Went wakeboarding, gokarting, played rounders etc
