About You
Really good opportunity to talk to Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs on their graduate scheme and to get a feel for the type of work that BP does. I enjoyed the Energy game also and it was a good experience to get information on how to apply for internships.
Not really applicable, but it was clear that the staff had put in a lot of work to make our time as informative and enjoyable as possible. For example, tours were organised and there were plenty of graduates and other BP staff (even from other UK locations) who were there to offer advice and more information.
Really good opportunity to quiz the graduates in order to get guidance/tips for applying to BP in future years.
Knowledge gained will help me in applying for future internship positions.
The Company
Timetable was well organised and time clearly had been put into making the day as structured as possible.
All the BP staff were extremely enthusiastic and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job.
Not really applicable.
Various presentations from different BP staff members to showcase their past and present projects.
Already had some idea of BP's culture through reading their website but it's difficult to accurately understand this without speaking to employees and hearing their experiences. BP seems like a company that really values its employees as they leave no expense in ensuring their employees' personal development.
The day has confirmed my desire to work for BP in the future.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were reimbursed and lunch was provided.
As mentioned, plenty of opportunity.
Not applicable.
Social scene amongst their graduates seems really good. Facilities onsite (BP Sunbury) also seem comprehensive.
If interested in BP, this is an excellent way to show interest in the company and to get your questions answered. Good opportunity to see what type of environment you could be working in and their projects.
