The Role
Really good, it was a great few days with BP. I learnt a lot about the company and they looked after me very well. I
This was a Discovery Day plus, a set of group challenges,.
Plenty of people were around to ask questions, and we were even given allotted time to talk to interns and graduates. It was great to get information of people who had been going through the same things I am doing now, and getting great advice.
I was only there for a few days, we had long days, but I still though it was well balance. You could stretch out over another day, but possibly the days may seem to drag on. I found my time there flew by!
The placement was Challenges and talks
Got some great pointers on how to fill in my applications for an internship with not just BP, but with other companies.
The Company
Really relaxed and helpful, everyone was very friendly and willing to offer some advice. The graduates were one of best parts of the whole event. Very down Earth guys, and gave some fantastic advice, and a good incite into what a career at BP was like.
They had planned everything to a tee. The traffic was the all down side, but the short time I was there I felt like none of it had been wasted. Was always given something to do and not left in room for 10minutes.
I will definitely be apply for an internship, and hopefully that will lead me to job with BP one day.
The Culture
They took us out each evening for a meal and put some money behind the bar for us. They made us all feel very welcome.
Paid for accomodation
They had a large amount of sporting teams to choose from, and a health club. If there isn't a club/sport that they don't do, they will give you some to start a new one.
