The Role
I loved spending time there and would really recommend it!
Everyone was really friendly and informative, they explained everything on a level I could relate to.
I spent all my time with the people I was shadowing so everthing seemed a lot less daunting.
I was busy but enjoyed everthing I did!
I was on shadowing an intern and so was not really given any responsibility, however the interns I was shadowing were treated as valued members of the complany and were working on projects whose results really made a difference.
It was really good seeing how a chemical complany opperates and gave me an insight into the life of a chemist at BP.
The Company
Everyone got on really well and it was a really nice and friendlt environment
Very well. I had the chance to email the intern I was shawowing before we met so I knew exactly what to expect on the day.
I was only there for the day but was told about all the opportunites the company offers and all about their graduate recruitment process.
It seems an amzing complany to work for and they offer lots of opportunites for undergraduates. After shadowing an intern I hope to get a summer placement in the company next year.
The Culture
As I was only there for a day the social side didn't affect me, although the interns I was shadowing were really friendly.
Average.
As I was only there for the day I didn't have a chance to experiece the nightlife although I have heard good things about the city.
As I was only there for the day I am unsure.
