The Role
Really wide range of departments and research groups we were allowed to be involved with.
Extremely friendly and sociable. Enthusiastic about getting Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµs involved with the work.
Staff at the company were highly knowledgable in their area of work plus explained their research projects to us comprehensively.
Great variety of work to do but the routine for the day was balanced.
Was able to be actually involved in doing calculations and lab work related to the research an intern would undertake.
The experience gave a strong indication in which area of my subiect I wish to specialise in for my degree as well as the elements of lab work which were most interesting to me.
The Company
Friendly and busy workplace.
Everything was highly organised and all the staff at the research centre were informative on all matters.
Overall the company was really informative about internships at the research centre and was keen to get Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµs involved with their work.
Healthcare/Dental
The company has a fantastic work ethic and tries to get the greatest potential from its employees and Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµs.
The Culture
All of the Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµs doing research were
Food on site was very reasonably priced and the free transport organised was highly useful.
There was not an opportunity to learn much about the night life near the research site but there was some available.
Plenty of opportunities to meet various members of staff outside the laboratory environment
