The Role
Really friendly team, couldnt be made to feel more welcome
Apart from a couple of queries before I started that were unresolved for a couple of days, my manager was really nice and tried his bets to integrate me into the team
I was given work, and my manager often checked if I needed more, or had too much on
There were some basic admin jobs (which you'd expect), but I was also given a couple of really important projects to work on
Definitely will stand me in good stead for the future. I learned loads!
The Company
Obviously there were older members of the team that didnt go out much, but we went out a few times and had a laugh (bowling etc)
Apart from a couple of admin delays at the start, everything went fine
I went on a personal effectiveness course whilst on placement with the rest of the team, so was made to feel valued
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
This is my second placement with E.ON - and I have to say, I really hope to get a permanent job on their grad scheme which looks really good.
The Culture
There are other 西瓜视频s that joined at a similar time to me - we met up during the summer before we started, so that allowed you to contact them once you'd started and go out together
I shared with other undergrads, so it was really cheap - we did stop in the 西瓜视频 area of Nottingham
One word - FANTASTIC!
You could join sports clubs and scoieties if you wanted - I didnt personally, but the option was there
