The Role
Intern was really friendly, and provided a great overview of how the firm operates.
I felt valued as I did work BP even in my one day of experience, however it was difficult to get a proper feel for this after just one day.
There was always someone there if I needed help!
It was not too strenuous, but I was never just sat there doing nothing.
I would have liked more, but then I was only there for one day...
The skills I developed helped me to appreciate the sheer breadth of operations that a large multinational firm can be engaged in, and this has helped me in my course.
The Company
Friendly and engaging.
It was well organised, but relied heavily on the enthusiasm of the intern you were following.
There wasn't much of this, but then it was only for one day.
Subsidised Canteen
Very appealing, BP seems really friendly, pays well, and is in an essential industry.
The Culture
I think there was, but the number of young graduates was quite small and I didn't get to experience it properly.
I am unsure exactly how expensive it would be, but I would have thought quite expensive.
Unsure as I was only there for a day!
Yes, the same as for any other large firm though, nothing amazing but equally it wasn't lacking in things to do.
