  • great accomodation, great food, insightful few days

  • team work exercise improved everyones team work and brought everyone together

  • always kept us up to date on what was happening

  • bit boring at points - not always related to geology and lots of spare time - could have learnt more

  • the business simulation we took full control of but other than that there was no responsibility

  • team work in the simulation - but feedback was minimal

  • light hearted and casual - good atmosphere

  • very well organised by the leader - all the controllables were controlled

  • no investment apart from the business simulation - minimal.

  • i dont want to go into the oil industry any more - nothing against the company - just not my career

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµs/colleagues?
  • there was a dinner in the evening where everyone got together and an open bar so every one enjoyed themselves.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • quite expensive - we were in London. all payed for by the company.

  • we never went out - i cannot comment on this.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • lots of time in the evenings but everyone just stayed at the hotel and relaxed together. there were some opportunities to get out and explore.
