The Role
great accomodation, great food, insightful few days
team work exercise improved everyones team work and brought everyone together
always kept us up to date on what was happening
bit boring at points - not always related to geology and lots of spare time - could have learnt more
the business simulation we took full control of but other than that there was no responsibility
team work in the simulation - but feedback was minimal
The Company
light hearted and casual - good atmosphere
very well organised by the leader - all the controllables were controlled
no investment apart from the business simulation - minimal.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
i dont want to go into the oil industry any more - nothing against the company - just not my career
The Culture
there was a dinner in the evening where everyone got together and an open bar so every one enjoyed themselves.
quite expensive - we were in London. all payed for by the company.
we never went out - i cannot comment on this.
lots of time in the evenings but everyone just stayed at the hotel and relaxed together. there were some opportunities to get out and explore.
