The Role
It was extremely enjoyable and a very good learning experience!
I spent all day with the intern but was introduced to his supervisor and line manager too. They were all friendly and had a chat with me about their experiences and route into their current role at BP.
We started with introductions and then attended a HAZOP meeting. I didnt even know what HAZOP was until after the meeting but I am very happy about having learnt something new.
I was shadowing an intern who had a lot of responsibility within the company. I learnt a great deal from it!
Attending meetings in the professional world is very different from what we may experience in groups at university but it is not off-putting!
The Company
It was great and everybody was very friendly!
It was just a day for shadowing an intern and it was still well organised. I learnt about the interns tasks on the project they were working on as well as his other daily jobs.

I am definitely going to try and get a job with them; working on my internship application right now!
The Culture
Yes, there was. I had lunch with the other interns at the Leatherhead Office and they were all up for a chat about their experience!
