The Role
Extremely enjoyable and BP spent considerable effort to organise several events and activities throughout the placement. A very exciting time.
Very welcoming despite all leading extremely busy and demanding roles. Made time to help with any requests and showed a direct interest in the work being done.
Fantastic support from a range of staff including management and supervisor. Support was detailed and feedback was insightful. You will find yourself develop considerably as a result of this.
Well balanced however slightly more towards the busy side. However this only makes the time go faster! You feel intellectually stimulated by the end.
Given sole responsibility on the project I was working on and provided with an opportunity to take it in a direction I saw appropriate - with guidance of course.
Directly relevant to my Masters degree to such an extent that my internship project was used as part of my MSc independent project. Fantastic quality and depth.
The Company
Happy and diverse atmosphere, with a memorable team building event too.
Brilliantly organised, everything just fitted into place. Faultless.
Took a very high amount of interest in seeing you develop through the project. Very resourceful training too.

The Culture
Very sociable and great bunch of colleagues - several events were organised throughout resulting in a close knit community by the end.
Some lived in central London which can be expensive whilst locations more local to the office are very reasonable.
Direct links to central London - perfect!
Several opportunities outside of work from a wide range of sources
