Overview
In the Disney+ Creative team I'd be working on different projects like brand campaigns, social content, and new Disney+ show advertising content. Then brainstorming, pitching and editing with premier pro to create AV content which might be used on social media, OOH billboards, or television. I might also help the producers on my team with admin tasks and deliveries, or with clip pulling.
Skills
I've developed my creative skills by learning from the producers on my team. I've learned how creative teams work from start to finish on a project, which involves a lot of technical steps. I've developed my interpersonal workplace soft skills, from working in such a large office environment and crossing paths with lots of different people and teams daily. I've also developed creative resilience.
Responsibilities
I was given a level of responsibility where I felt I was trusted and able to develop myself, without feeling to stressed or pressured. I was given the opportunity to get stuck in with real , full on projects, and share my ideas. It wasn't just a case of sitting on the sidelines and doing admin work, I always felt really involved in everything.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support and guidance was given. I had weekly check ins with my manager, and always had a producer leading a project who I could go to for guidance. Everyone was always keen to give advice and help me out when I had questions.
Culture
In my team the atmosphere was great, always very supportive and uplifting. Everyone getting stuck in to help each other out.
