Overview
Start on the project I am working on. If anyone in the team needs a comp check I will often volunteer, get given work by more senior members of the team.
Skills
I have developed a lot of new skills focusing around the QS role. One of which is time management, as I would have to balance multiple tasks and projects at the same time. Another improved skill is attention to detail as I have done quite a few comp checks, and have caught a fair few mistakes.
Responsibilities
I have been given more and more responsibilities as the placement has gone on, as the more my skills have improved the more tasks I have been given and its never gotten to the point where I feel overwhelmed.
Support & Guidance
I have been given as much support I could ask for, everyone has helped me a lot and the apprentices helped me more than anyone else
Culture
The company culture has been a new experience for me, but it was also a pleasant one. Everyone is easy to get along with. The general atmosphere in the office has been friendly

I enjoyed my placement a lot, to the point where I asked to extend it an extra couple of months.
