Overview
As a business analyst I did a lot of data analysis to gain insights to inform business decisions. This was done using Excel and PowerBI. Presentations and public speaking. I also held training sessions to help users use the platforms available to them.
Skills
Learned better data analysis skills in Excel including using the power query editor. PowerBI, workflow building on Microsoft Visio. Public speaking and presenting.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given tasks from the start and they increased in responsibility as my placement year progressed.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support from my team as my manager and colleagues were very supportive and happy to help.
Culture
Everyone was really lovely and happy to help. Everyone was always happy to meet for coffee and discuss their job role and team.
