Overview
Ensuring Portfolio Management tool was up to date, keep resource details correct. Reaching out to the team to support any tasks that they are carrying out. Support with quarterly planning events, and raising frameworks for resources.
Skills
Better knowledge of corporate digital tools e.g. Office, PPM tools, SharePoint. Stakeholder management and stakeholder interactions. Effective minute taking skills. Proactive problem solving.
Responsibilities
I covered a role for 5 months after a member of staff had left until a replacement was onboarded. I was also trusted to raise frameworks, which prior undergrads had not.
Support & Guidance
The whole team was on hand to answer any questions, and one of my colleagues I worked closest with was always able to provide support.
Culture
Calm, relaxed. Smart casual was the dress code, and reflected people's attitudes. The environment was comfortable, meaning I never felt pressured into doing anything, nor did I find it difficult to ask questions.
