Responsibilities
I was entrusted with a significant level of responsibility during my placement. Following my initial training, I was invited to attend meetings with senior members of the business. This early exposure greatly enhanced my understanding of both the wider organisation and specific business functions. It also helped build my confidence in comprehending not only my own role but also the responsibilities of others. As I progressed, I was given the opportunity to lead meetings with various stakeholders, including external partners such as outsourcers. I believe this level of responsibility was a direct result of the trust placed in me by my manager and team. On several occasions, I also took on additional tasks outside my core responsibilities鈥攕upporting colleagues by covering aspects of their roles during their absence鈥攆urther demonstrating the confidence my team had in my capabilities.
Support & Guidance
I received a substantial amount of support and guidance throughout my placement. My team consistently fostered an open and welcoming environment where I felt comfortable asking questions, which greatly encouraged my learning and development. They were understanding of the fact that this was my first experience in a corporate setting and were patient and supportive as I adjusted. Mistakes were treated as learning opportunities, and I was reassured that they were a natural part of the process. This level of encouragement played a key role in building my confidence and eagerness to grow professionally.

Additionally, diversity was openly celebrated across the organisation, and there was a clear emphasis on creating an environment where everyone felt valued and included. This uplifting culture made it easy to feel engaged and motivated throughout my placement.
