    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role title is: Customer Operations Analyst My day-to-day duties consist of: -Perform ad hoc tasks such as generating calibration reports and developing process trackers to support operational efficiency -Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of the Quality Assurance (QA) completion tracker -Distribute QA completion breakdown communications to relevant stakeholders -Monitor and manage Quality Assurance inboxes to ensure timely and effective query resolution -Partner with Customer Operations and Insights teams to support the execution of quality and process improvement reviews

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have managed to learn and develop many existing and new skills - the skills are as follows: -Communication: By regularly working with stakeholders inside and outside of my team, I've been able to understand how to speak with them in a way that's clear, concise and effective. -Teamwork: In my placement, I've been able to greatly understand the importance of teamwork. I've had the opportunity to work in different teams and as a result, I've been able to improve my teamwork skills. I now know how to effectively manage relationships within a team setting. -Leadership: This was a skill that I was really aiming to improve on when I first started my placement. I've been able to set and conduct meetings and understand how to build confidence in others when it comes to completing projects and tasks.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, I would definitely say so. I was given responsibility in many different ways - the major one being the management of different systems that we have in our team. I was responsible for ensuring that everything was up to date, up to standard, and was regularly maintained. I was also given the responsibility to work proactively and independently identify tasks and opportunities to add value during my placement. I was really happy with this as I was able to identify ways in which our processes could be better.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I received a great amount of support and guidance during my placement, which I am really grateful for. I was able to work in a team full of experienced individuals, and everyone was supportive and understanding of the fact that I came from a place of no experience and industry knowledge. Throughout my placement, I was able to receive a great amount of support which consistently gave me confidence and motivation to perform above and beyond expectations.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture and general atmosphere was very supportive. I noticed it straight away when I started, everyone at VWFS is encouraging and helpful. This was very beneficial to me as I was nervous that my voice wouldn't be appreciated or heard because I was a placement 西瓜视频. However, as my placement progressed, I found that this was the complete opposite. The culture at VWFS is perfect for everyone looking to develop themselves. Weather that be an undergraduate looking to secure a placement, or another individual looking for a full time role.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I have really enjoyed my placement. I've had the opportunity to get involved with a lot of different projects, and I've also been able to learn from a lot of experienced individuals. All in all, it's been a wonderful experience.
