Overview
Alongside tasks assigned by the supervisor and trainee buddy, there is a range of Focus On talk giving insights into all the departments at the firm. Furthermore, there were multiple evets in order social with both your department and trainees
Skills
I have built on: Drafting Researching Fact finding Form filling etc
Business Insight
It was very insightful. I found that for a lot of the tasks I had brief overview on the wider topics due to studies but it was very educational seeing the in depth legal work that went into achieving those goals.
Culture
The company culture was brilliant. I found that everyone was willing to speak with you and even if they could not, they were really apologetic about it. Furthermore, the team where I sat in were really approachable and were happy to provide me with work when I asked for it and provided really good feedback.
Your Impressions
It was very enjoyable. From the people to the work, I enjoyed my experience surrounded by individuals that were nice but also very knowledgeable about the work they do.
Yes
Truly understand the work the firm does as well as the culture. That way you can be confident as to your interest in the work. And by learning the culture you can also ensure you would fit in with the people.
