Overview
My role is complex and it ranges from invigilating regulatory gas/oil exams to contacting mobile trainers. Working proactively with managers to sort out product agreements and contracts. Some days you need to encourage inventory checks are made to check donated equipment at colleges through audits.
Skills
I have learnt much more project management skills, as I was responsible for a lot of market research to better our connections. As well as this i developed a lot of my time skills, this role being a lot more independent based, it was important to plan out tasks in a timely manner. I did this successfully and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
Yes I was, this ranged for being responsible for booking trainers into training at colleges and contacted key contacts and gathering the right information to conducting my own primary research.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support from my team and managers. If i was struggling I found it easy to talk to them and gather there thoughts on a issue. My manager was easy to contact and would talk me through issues i was having whilst being constructive. Alongside this other departments were all very facilitating in sorting out any issues i had.
Culture
The companies culture was very empowering and everyone has a amazing growth mindset, they give interns a lot of opportunity to see other departments and different sectors. This greatly improved my employability skills and felt much more confident.
