It was a good introduction to the type of work that the bank does and it was nice that there was a variety of 西瓜视频s - not just undergrads but people at various stages of not only their academic careers but also professional too. It seemed that the recruitment process wanted to gain talent and potential and not someone who has loads of work experience.

Even though there was only one person running the insight day she still managed to address each individual question with a lot of care and time - regardless of the complexity. However it would be great if response to emails was faster - I waited about a month to hear back on a question regarding applications.

Hard to answer as I don't feel this situation warranted a lot of support or guidance in activities - so not sure if I can answer this question well. All people who came to speak with us were happy to engage with us and answer our questions during a work day which was nice.

Really useful insight into application process - as I didn't do very well in the video interview in the pass it was nice to get first hand knowledge on how to go forward and prepare for it. The exposure to trading was useful too as I come from a non-finance background.

Ran on time and we covered all of the activities that were advertised. I think we spent a lot of time on the trading exercise but equally if this is what happens at the assessment centre than fair enough. Would be good to go through the types of things that successful applicants have on their applications.

Pleasant and friendly - people were engaging and were not intimidating. Some people seemed a little arrogant but for the most part those who came to speak to us and those who attended were really nice and open. Would recommend the insight day to other people who were thinking about banking.

I don't feel I can comment on this as it was only an insight day and not a placement or internship.

It really helped and explained a lot more of the humanitarian and policy side of finance that the bank is involved with - which is something I was really interested in. It was nice to know that I would be judged on my potential and what I could bring rather than on what things I didn't have.

Understanding the values was easy but again as it was only a day rather than working on a project and knowing more about what the company does to support employees I don't feel I can really comment on this question as I did not have the right exposure - but overall it seems like a great place to work

It actually helped me answer a lot of questions about what type of career I wanted and what I wanted to do within society and in my own career - it was definitely a turning point which was needed to give me the direction I have needed in making career decisions.

It was nice getting some money back - especially as other internships are unpaid and won't cover travel

There was but it was difficult to know what exactly the point was as we had plenty of time to ask questions with various people but I don't feel this would help in an application process - it was not made clear that by getting invited to this insight day if this would be acknowledged when sending in an application.

Fine - plenty of time if not maybe too much time to network and it was not clear if this would help in the application process.

No one really talked about this so unsure.

Yeah - it was friendly and a good use of time. Definitely is a good confidence boost to be able to get selected by the Bank.
