  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed this internship. Everyone was so nice and helpful.

    • I felt very valued because people were willing to spend time talking to me and teaching me about their jobs.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • Too much guidance and support. Everyone I worked on the project provided guidance as to what I was supposed to be doing. In terms of support, it came in all forms: analysts, associates, vice presidents and even MDs.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Going back to school, it is going to change the way I approach my projects and problem - solving, in general.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • It was really structured, and that was very clear from all the activities planned for the interns, and even our workspaces.

    • Exciting. Inspirational. Surreal. Motivating. Very good vibes from everyone at the firm.

    • The company invested so much in my professional growth, I feel different.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • It helped me understand that when Goldman says it's a Tech company, it really is a Tech company. Working here is great! The collaboration and investment in Human Capital is so huge!

    • A lot. Being in the company and experiencing the culture is different from looking at pictures, watching videos or reading it online.

    • It was really helpful in allowing me to understand that even though I have so much to learn, I can still contribute with the skills I have so far.

    • I was not expecting a reimbursement, but I was given one which was great.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • That was the main goal of the program. I met different kinds of employees across the spectrum.

    • Really informal and fun. Some at the firm, and some in other venues.

    • Definitely, Goldman Sachs is very specific about that. Even on the website, you are able to find these things.

    • Definitely! I will recommend this insight program to everyone around the world.
