About You
The Spring Internship at Goldman Sachs was far from what I expected. It has been much more insightful and stimulating ! We get some training sessions and worked on several concrete cases ! We had the amazing opportunity to interact with people from every team and every position in the hierarchy !
We really felt valued at the firm as lots of analysts came to help us working on cases or just to talk to us about their experience even considering their very busy schedule.
We had an amazing guidance thanks to the HCM team, our captains or even our personal buddies.
I think we did learn a lot with the intense training we attended to or also thanks to the concrete cases we corked on.
The Company
It was very structured! We had all different types of sessions and presentations across each day. It was very intense but very well scheduled.
The Spring Interns were very supportive to one another, there was no competition at all. The GS teams were very willing to help and transmit their knowledge.
We learnt a lot about the Investment banking. We had the opportunity to meet lots of people to discuss about their experience to see if this type of career suited us.
As it is a 2 weeks internship we had plenty of opportunities to discover the firm's culture.
Everything Else
I was paid for this internship.
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend as I learnt lot about the Banking world, I really experienced the culture of the firm and I get to meet lots of interesting people.
