About You
The insight was reallly useful to see how Technology is applied in an investment bank and it was amazing. People are really nice and treat you like a real Goldman Sachs employee. We had the opportunity to take part in a lot of different activities with different dybamics and to learn a lot
Goldman Sachs employees treat you as you were one of them and expect things from you, which makes you feel really valued. We also had the opportunity to meet some of the senior employees and attend events with people from other divisions and an event with people that had entered the firm in the last years
A lot. You can feel free to contact anyone you want if you want to ask for help and everyone's willing to help. There are different platforms that ensure that you can do this as you can send emails, instant messages and find where everyone is located using an internal platform
I was able to see really interesting things I had just been taught applied to real world situations and that help me to understand them better as well as feeling more motivated for my studies. On top of that, my networking skills have improved a lot in these past two weeks.
The Company
it was perfectly structures. First we had some insight to the firm's culture adn what was expected from us and everyday we had different activities to take part in and also free time in order to network with new people and work on our group project in the desks that we had been allocated
Amazing, made some really good friends
They took a lot of timme and resources to make sure that the interns hasd everything they needed. We were able to attend workshops and also several meetings with our project mentors in order to help us with the development and improvement of our group project. We were also able to talk to a lot of employees from different teams
I think it could not have been done better as we were able to talk to a lot of employees with different responsibilities within the firm as well as being allocated in desks that were literally where the other people was working. So basically you felt like you were part of the office as well
It was perfectly explained throughout all of the insight adn you could see al the employees following it
It was actually really helpful as I was not sure that I would like the fintech world and it was a really positive surprise to discover that it's actually one of the potential options for my career path after I graduate. It has showed me a wide range of new opportunities
Everything Else
I was not reimbursed expeneses because I already live in London
Every day at every moment. I met so many people that I'm still amazed. People are really open and willing to talk to you and explain you their real and honest experiences inside the firm. They also organised different events that helped you get to know the people in the firm in a more informal environment
amazing and there were a lot of them. People were really nice and everyone was willing to talk to you and explain their own experiences within the firm. You can also contact people via email and meet with them to have a coffee. There were really a lot of opportunities
Yes, they talked to us about their hobbies mostly on the social events
Definetely yes, is a really great insight into tech in the IB world
