The Role
I enjoyed it extensively. There were many opportunities for me to challenge myself and learn more about the firm and specifically how my specific division fits within the firm. I truly learned a lot throughout the internship and had a great deal of fun, as well, from the events like CTW or other networking events.
I felt extremely values by the colleagues that I worked with. This was evidenced in their confidence to give me projects that were both challenging and important to the firm, as well. Overall, I can say that definitely felt like an integral part of the team and valued by my colleagues, indeed.
My supervisors gave me a tremendous amount of support throughout my internship. They were very meticulous in terms of the specification of my project and they were passionate about my work as well, so they placed great emphasis on mentoring and supporting me. I am very appreciative of this, because it helped my development greatly.
On a daily basis, I was very busy. I had normally about 1 or 2 hours dedicated to solely intern meetings, MD roundtables, networking sessions, etc. The project I was given was also quite demanding, so it did take up a lot of my time and I can definitely say that I was very busy, but still maintained a perfect balance.
I was given a lot of responsibility, although I was still carefully mentored by my supervisors, managers, and "buddy," who was an Associate within the team. They trusted me to develop this proprietary framework and I embraced the responsibility and simultaneously learned a lot through the responsibility in my internship, too.
The skills I developed are very transferable. I developed great team building skills, presentation skills, technical skills, and, of course, financial skills. It was truly a great experience, and it was so gratifying to ultimately push my project into production. I learned a lot from my training and work that will assist me in my degree studies and beyond.
The Company
The office was a very stimulating and engaging place. The desk was quite technical and everyone was so willing to help others and teach others. I was the main recipient of this collaborative culture, as the intern, of course. I truly enjoyed the experience in my office - it contributed to the good work.
The internship was very well organized as there was a defined project in place for me upon my arrival to the firm. I was carefully mentored my by managers, supervisors, and internship "buddy," as well, so I found the overall experience to really be intellectually stimulating, too. It was definitely well organized,
They invested in me tremendously, giving me numerous sessions around presentations, etc., all of which were very transferable to my personal development, indeed. I felt that in terms of personal training and development, the firm invested heavily in me. It was a remarkable experience working at this firm and in my team.

Future employment prospects within the organization are very appealing. I feel that I would love to work in this organisation as it is a great place to work, invests heavily in my personal development, and falls directly in line with my academic and personal interests. I hope to be back, for sure.
The Culture
Yes there was a good social scene amongst all of the fellow placement 西瓜视频s and fellow placement colleagues. We constantly arranged team dinners or drinks and all of the other interns were extremely social and interesting to talk to, so, yes, I wouls say a good social scene was present during the summer.
It was expensive - it is London, after all.
It was alright.
Yes, I got involved with basketball and toastmaster society.
