    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The internship has been a great experience, with exposure to an abundance of talented colleagues, which is one of the most inspiring aspects about the job and the internship. I enjoyed the work and the engagement by my coworkers. The atmosphere and the support by the employees are outstanding, and helps facilitate the learning and on-project contribution.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt valued to a high degree by my colleagues in the teams during my internship. My contributions to projects were acknowledged greatly and valuable feedback was provided upon this work, which is also a great indication of the fact that the colleagues value you, your work and your progress.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • On projects I had access to highly talented people, from whom I could seek advice and knowledge regarding certain questions to tasks and procedures. This support was an important part of my on-the-job learning experiences. The guidance was provided on a junior level and sought on a more senior level. Overall the support was very great, but minor instances it was less available.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • During the working days I experienced a good flow of projects and tasks that consistently provided you with opportunities to contribute to the teams. The staffing procedure is very well structured and efficient in avoiding over or underloading of interns. The constant feedback also helps mitigate this potential risk. However, at some times the structure of the workflow could be such that you would be less busy during evening and busy in later hours.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a great deal of responsibility and have been engaged on a multitude of projects ranging in tasks, scope and process nature. The tasks I have been conducting have been very similar or equal to that of a first year analyst. If you are willing to do the work and take on responsibility, the teams are more than happy to distribute this to you and provide your guidance along the way.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The internship is in essence a 10-weeks training and learning opportunity. The technical skills and the procedural understanding is very valuable and will be of immense importance going forward. The skills developed is of minor importance for the degree studies, but is highly relevant and important for your future career and development.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The general atmosphere in the work place was very satisfying form my perspective. There is a great feeling of mutual respect and understanding, while it is an exciting workplace with rapid pace and highly engaged employees, which creates and fosters a dynamic and interesting environment to be working in for me.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The whole organisation is very well structured and set up good conditions for interns to success and contribute throughout the internship experience. All events, rotations, and intern processes are very well mapped out, organised and explained. Besides some minor time management situations at intern events, it is very much well organised.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm invests a massive amount of resources in developing the skills of interns throughout the internship experience. This ranges both from equipment, technical assistance and most importantly the employees commitment to help, provide workshops and facilitate learning through taking their time to explain tasks and address any questions from interns.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised/Company Gym

    National Travel

    Company Parties/Events

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The employment prospects within the organisation is very good. If you are performing well as an intern and has a great organisational fit, they will most likely have the headcount for you to join a team. As for the appeal, it is a very interesting company to be working in and it is a hard job offer to beat by any organisation worldwide.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?
  • The social scene between the interns was very good, but highly driven by the interns themselves. The internship program however also set up a multitude of social events between and within teams. In general, the culture and the people in the firm facilitates and encourages such events to a great extent.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The cost of living is quite expensive in London in terms of housing where one should at least be prepared to spend somewhere between 拢750-拢1,400 depending on the accommodation and location. The food is not cheap, but not too expensive either. It is possible to get lunch for 拢4-拢10, and dinner for 拢10-拢15.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • London is famous for being a vibrant city with many offers for having a great social experiences no matter what preferences one may have as for how they prefer to spend their time. The nightlife in London is very interesting and there is always a new different place to go to and explore.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Given the nature of the job and your ambition to learn as much as possible during the relatively short internship of 10 weeks, it is quite limited as to the opportunity to get involved in activities outside of work. There however, where organised such event and activities by the firm to foster such engagement by the interns and employees.
