The Role
Overall it was a very insightful experience and it gave me the opportunity to build a network with a diverse bunch of people and enhance my knowledge. It was a well organised program which ensured that I have a fruitful experience.
My team were quite small but they recognized that it was a different environment for me and hence made it a point to ensure I feel welcomed and valued. There were some social events organised as well which helped me get to know them better.
It is a open and flat structure so I was not only allowed but was encouraged to reach out whenever I had any questions. I set up weekly catch ups with my team to keep them posted and raise any questions I had.
There were a number of HCM sessions organised for us and I had to manage that while also working on my own projects and work assigned to me. There was some team activities organised for all of us together as well so overall I was kept quite busy but not overworked.
I was given three main projects to work on and the successful delivery of them would have substantial impacts on my team. So i felt like I was given a fair share of responsibility which was within my scope.
The training I received not only helped me enhance my knowledge of the industry but it also helped me become more self aware and develop various soft skills which will prove to be helpful in my future career and education.
The Company
The general atmosphere seemed quite fast paced and competitive at first. However, as time went by the collaborative and open culture of things helped make it an enjoyable 10 weeks.
It was a very well organised program from the initial to the final weeks. There was a good balance between having training sessions, networking opportunities and social events outside the workplace.
The training provided was the same level of detail and accuracy as the one provided to newly hired analysts. People take time out of their day to answer questions or provide any guidance. We were also given buddies and mentors which helped in the initial period.

The internship helped me evaluate whether the firm would be a right fit for me or not. As it was so well organised and I had a fruitful experience, I definitely see it as a great place to start a career.
The Culture
One of the biggest positives of this internship was the ability to meet fellow interns from diverse backgrounds and build a meaningful network.
It was a little over economical pricing but there is a diverse set of areas to choose from an hence the level of pricing could vary dependent on the location.
The firm was quite central and hence w=there were good transportation systems in place to travel around the city and visit different places of interest.
There were different affinity networks we could become a member of and we could attend sessions organised by these groups. We also had a day during the internship where we got involved in some community work.
